After Treatment
Bruising around the injection site is possible but only a small percentage of patients develop small bruising. If bruising occurs, it is usually apparent at day 2-3 and will typically resolve over 5-10 days. Other possible side effects include swelling or puffiness, mild irritation and bruising around the eyes. This bruising is very common as the under-eye area has lots of small blood vessels.
